Looking forward to November
I’ve got my eyes on November.
The Kindle Fire ships. I’ve been sitting on the sidelines as tablets have rolled by, waiting for the right opportunity to jump in. It looks like the Fire is the first serious contender to the iPad that has a strong value proposition. And Amazon is approaching the tablet with the same platform-mindset that has brought Apple so much success. I’m planning to do an unboxing and initial impressions once it arrives.
November is NaNoWriMo (http://www.nanowrimo.org/). I’ve been kicking around ideas for a sci-fi novel for a while. I plan to brute-force my way through my tendency to over-analyze and super-prepare by churning out a novel in November. We’ll see how it goes.
And Finally, the Lean Launch Lab is going live (http://www.leanlaunchlab.com/). I’ve gotten hooked into the philosophy of lean startups and the business model canvas. In the spirit of “trying to get things done” I plan to sketch out some of my startup ideas and put together an action plan.
Until November…
